So, since Rise Forums has become 100% free, a lot of new members have come on board...hooray! However, one thing that is a bit annoying is when they bring up threads that haven't been touched in months. Do you think we could auto-archive threads that haven't received any attention in 30 days? (completely arbitrary number there) While it's encouraging to see people want to contribute, I think it gets a bit silly when some of these issues which are incredibly old get brought back up.
It's something that occurs on many forums. When a forum reaches a certain level of content, many new members search for content that is related to topics they are passionate about. It makes sense that they respond to longer threads that had many posts in them as the topic and discussion was interesting. Unfortunately, for those of us who participated in the discussion thread months ago, it can be a pain for us to be drawn back into the discussion. I will look if there is a solution to this. I don't think there is a way to completely stop it, but we should be able to discourage it in some way.
