This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.
For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

    Few observations:
I noticed above error showing sporadically, working fine with some products, others not. Tested with iexplorer 10, firefox, chrome browsers. Do you think its related to browser cache, htacess, robots or other.

Please advise how to resolve the issue.

  2. I removed the product listing from the site and re-added it worked fine with no error http403. But not sure this is the way to fix the problem. please share your thoughts.

  3. There are a number of reasons that a 403 error can be produced.

Wikipedia has a decent list of reasons:

    • 403.6 - IP address rejected.
    • 403.7 - Client certificate required.
    • 403.8 - Site access denied.
    • 403.9 - Too many users.
    • 403.10 - Invalid configuration.
    • 403.11 - Password change.
    • 403.12 - Mapper denied access.
    • 403.13 - Client certificate revoked.
    • 403.14 - Directory listing denied.
    • 403.15 - Client Access Licenses exceeded.
    • 403.16 - Client certificate is untrusted or invalid.
    • 403.17 - Client certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

  5. I made few changes to .htaccess and robots may be causing issue... not sure.

  6. I noticed, when I view the website from wordpress admin login the pages are showing fine with no errors. Something is blocking...

  7. I checked your website on http://httpstatus.io/ and it returned a 200 response code. Everything seems ok :)

  8. Thank you Kevin.

There are two problems I am facing.

    1) Removed page from the site but still showing.
    http://www.coffeemachineespresso.com/product/bosch-tassimo-single-serve-coffee-brewer-glamour-red/

    2) Http 403.8 problem with site access.
When I view the page from the browser Http 403.8 site access issue... comments are not displaying. When the view the same page (browser) after I login into wordpress as admin I can see the comments without any error. Goto the page and click on the comments tab.

  9. Yes I saw the tab. What I mean is that no comments are published :)

  10. yea the problem is .....

The comments were there, the problem is I am able to see the comments in that page only after I login to wordpress as admin. It is suppose to display the comments just like any other page, there is no login required.

  11. Yes it seems like there is an option that is only displaying comments to admin. Sounds like a theme issue.

  12. Issue resolved. I found the issue could be related to wp super cache plugin. I logged into cpanel noticed multiple versions of .htaccess. Not sure exact root cause but after removing the wp super cache plugin working fine.

I completely removed the wp super cache plugin and tested the pages working fine. after that re-installed the plugin working fine.

thank you for your help and support.

  13. No problem. I am glad you resolved the issue :)
