Is There Any Way To Override Theme Styling In Widgets? (genesis Framework)

  1. I really like the Genesis framework, but I'm not always a fan of the way widgets are displayed in sidebars. Recent post widgets are a good example of this. Everything is always spaced out more than it should have which makes all the posts look awful.

    Is there any way of overriding the default theme styling in a widget to stop this from happening?

  2. ..wouldn't you just create a child theme which import's genesis CSS, followed by your own custom stylesheet?
  3. I am using a Genesis child theme already.

    I think I would have to copy widget styling from another theme and call it something unique and call it.
