How do I post photos on forum? Do I upload my photos to a server and input the URL? What type of service can I use?
Hi Soki, There is an option underneath each thread to "Upload a File". You can upload a photo using that if you wish (as long as the photo is not super big). Alternatively, you can link to images located elsewhere by using the image icon. In the editor, it is displayed to the right of the smiley icon Kevin
What about those services like Flickr, Picasa, etc. I seen some other forum suggesting to upload photo there then only being able to post in the forums. I dont have any of those accounts, considering which is suitable. Any recommendation?
A lot of forums disable photo uploads to save on storage and bandwidth. Neither of these things are an issue for this forum just now, therefore I would rather keep the practicality of file uploads. Though you can use an image storage service to save larger files. If you plan on embedding an image, just be sure to check whether hotlinking the image is allowed.
